All Civil/Legal Ceremonies must take place in the Civil Town House


Documents needed
A) Copies of Birth Certificate for Bride and Groom with a raised seal
or original watermark. Once the raised seal is secured, they have to
be submitted to the Secretary of State Office for an apostille (a
spearate document authenticating the certificate copy and the
employee who signed the copy). If bride and groom do not have
passports and are using their birth certificate to travel with, they
need to request 2 (two) original birth certificate copies (one for
travel and one for the Aruba Civil Registrar as they will keep a copy
with pertaining apostille on file in Aruba.
B) Photo I.D. of either the passport picture page OR driver’s
license for Bride & Groom.
C) Photo I.D. of TWO Witnesses (18 years up)….Witnesses can be
provided locally if bride and groom are traveling alone at $50 each.
D) Certificate of No Impediment for bride and groom (also called
“single status report” or “negative statement of marriage”). This
certificate is obtained at the Bureau of Vital Statistics and states
that Bride and Groom is eligible to marry.
E) Divorce Decree if either party has been divorced (a copy of the
1st and last pages).
F) Death Certificate if either party is a widow(er).
G) Intent to Marry Form for Bride and Groom (This is an Aruba
Application to Marry Form forwarded to you by Aruba Weddings For You
once the date and time of the civil wedding is booked and confirmed).
One needs to be filled in by the Bride and one by the Groom.
ALL COPIES NEED TO BE FAXED IN TO ARUBA WEDDINGS FOR YOU
FOR REVIEW
PRIOR TO SENDING ORIGINALS BY FED EX.

Ceremony can take place Monday through Friday, in the late morning or
mid afternoon. Saturdays are also available in the late mornings at an
additional charge and upon request basis.

No bathing suits, shorts, cut-offs nor slippers at the Civil
Ceremony please.
